The Harrah Character Counts Honor goes to Braiden Inglehart, a senior basketball player. Inglehart played point guard for Harrah and worked hard during the season to achieve his goal of being a leader for the team. “My role is to be a team player,” said Inglehart, “get the team rolling even if I’m not starting, I want to make sure the team stays focused and locked in all game.”
Character is something that is important to Braiden on and off the court. He defines it as follows “To me it’s keeping yourself composed, having a good mentality and having self-morale,” said Inglehart, “Everyone has a different character during games, but only the good characters will stand out.”
Inglehart also has a favorite quote that he uses for motivation. “Keep pushing for your dreams, if you fall down brush it off and keep pushing even harder and show people what you are capable of.”
Inglehart’s character also shows up in the classroom as an all A and B student. After high school Inglehart is thinking about going to college, but he is also really interested in joining the Air Force.
