Edmond North’s Dixie Randall: Mom of the Month – Presented by Dr. Craig Kupiec, INTEGRIS Family Care Edmond East

The Edmond North Mom of the Month is Dixie Randall the wrestling mom. Randall is a mother of four boys. Her two oldest sons Jaxon(sophomore) and Jude (8th grade) both wrestle at Edmond North. She also has six-year-old twins.

Randall got into wrestling after she met her husband, Zachary, who was on the wrestling team at OU. Zachary’s dad Archie was a long-time coach at El Reno and OCU. She has never missed any of her kids wrestling matches, including when she was pregnant or after giving birth to her twins.

Dixie is now responsible for feeding the team for all their duels and tournaments. She also runs the wrestling teams Facebook page. According to Coach Andy Snyder she also gives rides to team members and helps with ordering apparel for the team and parents.

“I just want my kids to have the best experience that they can have,” said Randall, “I used to be a teacher for eight years, so I have always liked being around kids. Now I’m a stay at home and I just wanted to stay involved and help and it gave me the time to do that.”

Randall also speaks very highly of the coaches at Edmond North.

“The High school coaches are awesome and easy to work with. We’ve been lucky to have such great coaches; my son looks up to Coach Snyder a lot and they have a great bond, so we’re really lucky to have that,” said Randall.
