Class of 2020 student, Natalie Wexenfelter, is a senior volleyball player for Choctaw High School. Natlie holds the position of middle blocker and right side hitter for her team. Natlie is also part of the high school’s Student Council and National Honor Society.

“I love getting to serve my school and community by planning events,” Natalie said.

Playing and loving volleyball started in her fourth grade physical education class. Over the years Natalie has found many aspects of the sport that she loves, but the most cherished part for her is the people.

“Volleyball has been the only constant in my life for eight yeras, and it brought me the best friends and most hilarious memories I could have asked for,” said Natalie.

This season was challenging for many of the players, but they all grew so much because of it.

“There were some rough patches, but the challenges taught me the importance of mental toughness and the impact that one positive player can have on a whole team,” Natalie said.

As for Natlie’s last year in highschool she is making sure to take the time to make great memories and enjoy it.

“I want to have enough memories to be satisfied with my experience and no regrets,” Natalie said.

After graduation, Natalie plans to attend college and receive a bachelor in business law. From there Natalie plans to attend a law program and one day join the JAG Officer program to practice law for the Air Force.
