The Deer Creek Antlers’ multiple spread offense has six starters returning from last fall with a good mixture of senior leadership and young talent. This team is still on the rise and hopes that its fourth year of competing in Class 6A-II will show even more growth for the program. On the ground, Tyler Travis (5-9, 180, Sr.) returns at running back, along with fellow running back Lemorris Davis (5-9, 180, Sr.). These two will offer a legit threat in the run game and continue to be driving forces for the offense in terms of yardage and points on the board. Jake Sexton (6-5, 295, So.) and Aaron Corbin (6-3, 285, Sr.) will serve crucial roles up front as they protect their QB and bring some size and physicality to the offensive line. Gavin Houska (6-0, 200, Jr.) will take on the position of starting quarterback, looking to solidify his role as a leader on the field.

Operating out of a 3-4 defensive formation, the Antlers will feature Zander Crawford (5-8, 240, Sr.) back at noseguard, with Reed Eden (6-3, 225, Jr.) and Garrick Johnson (5-10, 230, Sr.) on either end of the defensive line. These three will contribute greatly to the success of maintaining a strong defensive front. Returning linebackers Dylan Diaz (6-0, 215, Sr.) and Parker Johnson (6-3, 230, Sr.) will bring their experience back and make formidable contributions to this defense as they deliver hard hits and extra protection. In the secondary, look for Elijah Allen (5-10, 175, Sr.) at free safety and Angelo Clark (5-9, 175, Sr.) at cornerback to cause all kinds of problems for opposing offenses. Head coach Wade Standley will be joined on the sidelines by his coaching staff of Colin Roberts, Dusty Baker, Kyle Hale, Derek Dennis, Jeff McMillen, Russell Caldwell, Tyler Scarbrough, Keith Ooten and Todd Barnes. The staff also welcomes Jaxson Uhles, who was an All-State linebacker for Standley at Norman North and played for OU, as well as Lance Tignor, who has coached with Standley at Union and Norman North.
