Yukon’s Stasha Howard – Mom of the Month Presented by Dr. Ashley Cochran INTEGRIS Family Care Surrey Hills

Stasha Howard is a graduate of Yukon High School, where she played soccer and was named All-Conference her junior and senior years. She now has five sons who are all athletes in Yukon schools, which keeps her schedule plenty busy.

Koby graduated in 2015 and played soccer all four years of high school. Dylan, 17, is a junior at Yukon High and is team captain on the varsity tennis team. Aydan, 15, is a freshman on the high school swim team whose relay team broke the school record and qualified for state. He was named Freshman of the Year on the team and also swims competitively for Bison Aquatic Club. Trevor, 13, is in eighth grade, plays soccer competitively and is on the Yukon Middle School basketball team. And Brandt, 9, is in third grade, plays soccer, basketball, and tennis.

Howard stays highly involved with Yukon High School athletics by serving as the President of the Tennis Booster Club and the Secretary of the Swim Booster Club. For Howard, the importance of supporting her sons’ athletic careers lies in the valuable lessons and skills they can learn from being involved in sports.

“I feel that them playing sports can give them confidence, responsibility, and leadership. They can learn how to prioritize practices, homework, friends and family,” she said.

Howard works as a Lactation Consultant at OU Children’s Hospital. In her free time, aside from supporting her boys in sports, she enjoys spending time with her family at the lake. For her commitment to her kids and the Yukon High community, Stasha Howard is our Yukon Mom of the Month.
